Jimmie's Chicken Shack

Jimmie's chicken shack has been making music for 13 years. first releasing "2for1 special" and "giving something back" on their own fowl records then signing to rocket/island/defjam they released "pushing the salmanilla envelope" and "bring your own stereo".

After living through the major label joke, they fought for 3 years to get out of their deal. They eventually signed with indie label, Koch Records, and in 2004 they released "re.present".

Jimi ended up co-writing some tunes on this cd with friends he has made over the years of making cds and touring (butch walker, aaron lewis, art alexakis, mark tremonti, john wozniak)

The band has never had just one sound. Every cd sounds different as does every song. They continue to put on insane live shows and are working on new material for a new cd. Come out to a show. Spread the music around. Support a band that has always stayed true to it's roots, it's fans, and the creation of original sounding music.
