Love To Sing's Featured Vocalist of the Week

Would you like to be featured?

We are proud to announce this week's featured vocalist:

Heidi Schwartz

Songs are pictures. Paintings are lyrics,
at least in the world of Heidi. She connects art and music
together through her journal and paintings – both of which
inspire her poignant songs. As she explains the relationship, “it
collects my thoughts ... brings pictures to my words … words
to life ... getting sound out in a tangible form, visually, so it
doesn’t clutter up my head. IDEAS (everywhere) … they aren’t
just swimming up there … they’re out and about … it’s the way
I make sense of myself in the world.” And it makes for a
colorful songwriter.

The title track “Orbit” inspired this creative process merging her
paintings and songs, after having a particularly stimulating
conversation with a friend. “We were talking about how the
people in our lives seem to come in a season, in seemingly
odd, yet perfectly planned periods of time,” says Heidi. “These
are the people that are in your Orbit, people going in constant
motion, circling around each other, swinging in and out for
lessons, seasons, and reasons."

This first song/painting collaboration was the first of many. After
much hard work, Heidi has found her niche in the world of
seasoned pop as her powerful lyrics, vocal and guitar skills
continue to pave her way. She continues to press ahead,
expressing her views with a visual sound, through paint, notes,
heart and soul. Check out her latest release and experience
her poignant music live.

"With a little twist of fate I collided into you. No one else in the world
could relate to the power of me and you. Were going in Motions. You
ring around me..." From Orbit by Heidi Schwartz.
