Featured Vocalist of the Week

Would
you like to be featured?
We are proud to
announce this week's featured vocalist:
Rachel Rossos

Rachel Rossos is a folk rocker from Bordentown,
NJ
pursuing a B.A. in Music at Columbia University. She
performs all original songs, including a song that she
wrote in French.
Rachel began formal training in voice and guitar
when
she was 14 years old. She began writing her own songs
very quickly after that, her strongest influences
including Tori Amos, the Indigo Girls, and Dar
Williams. Around the same time, she gained studio
experience singing for her father, Dr. Nick Rossos, on
his second CD, "Cathexis" (available at
www.cdbaby.com/rossos2).
Since arriving in NYC for college, Rachel has
performed all over the city in venues such as CB's
Gallery, Postcrypt Coffeehouse, and The C-Note. She
released her debut CD, entitled "Rated R", which she
wrote, recorded, and mastered on her own, in October
2004. The CD can be previewed and purchased on
towerrecords.com and at www.cdbaby.com/rachelrossos
Listen
to her here! Enjoy!
